Steel Flooring

Open steel plank is also called steel grating in many countries. It is made by process of punching, rolling-forming, form-punching. It can be sorted as galvanized plank and powder coated plank. Steel grating is racking related product. So it is widely used as flooring on mezzanine and steel platform, and as shelving on racking. For its perforated surface, it can meet fire-resistant requirement in many countries.

Steel plank can be divided into flat floor and open steel plank. Flat floor can be embossed or punched. There are two size: W200*H40mm and W250*H40mm, and the thickness is 2.0mm, 2.3mm, 2.5mm. The thickness of 2.0mm can carry 300kg/SQM. The thickness of 2.5mm can carry 500kg/SQM.

Open steel plank has two types of holes: Type-I and Type-II. The size of Type-I is W200*H40mm, pitch is 50mm. Type-II is the most widely used, the size is W200*H40mm and W230*H40mm , pitch is 60mm. The thickness is 1.5mm, 1.8mm, 2.0mm. The thickness of 1.5mm can carry 300kg/SQM. The thickness of 1.8mm can carry 500kg/SQM. If the floor load is heavy or use trolley, the reinforcement can be welded.

Flat floor slabs are beautiful and generous, and can be used in mezzanine or steel platforms. The ground floor can be used to store goods and the upper floor can be used as offices. It can enhance space utilization. Open steel plank is mostly used for mezzanine racks, and the perforated design can meet anti-fire requirements. At the same time, steel plank can also be used as steel panel for racks.
