1. Introduction

2. Classification
According to the height of the shelves
According to the different heights of the shelves, they are subdivided into high-rise warehouses (above 15 meters), middle-rise warehouses (5-15 meters) and low-rise warehouses (below 5 meters). Since high-rise warehouses are too expensive, require special mechanical equipment, and are difficult to install, they are relatively less built; the bottom warehouse is mainly used for the transformation of old warehouses, which is a feasible way to improve the technical level and storage capacity of old warehouses; the middle-rise warehouse is more commonly used.
According to the shelf structure
It is divided into unit cargo format warehouse, through-type warehouse, automated cabinet warehouse, strip-type warehouse
According to the building structure
It is divided into integrated warehouse and separated warehouse
According to the cargo picking machine
It is divided into shelf forklift warehouse and aisle stacker warehouse
According to the operation mode
1) Manual addressing and manual loading and unloading mode. The machine is operated manually and addresses on the high-level shelves, and then the goods are taken out of the shelves or loaded into the shelves by the transport vehicle. 2) Automatic addressing and manual loading and unloading mode. According to the input instructions, the machine automatically operates to address and recognize the address. After running to the predetermined cargo position, it automatically stops, and then the goods are loaded or taken from the shelves manually. 3) Automatic addressing and automatic loading and unloading mode is an unmanned operation mode. It is automatically operated according to the instructions of the controller or the instructions of the computer for outbound and inbound storage. Among the above three methods, manual addressing and manual loading and unloading are mainly suitable for medium and low-level stereoscopic warehouses, and the other two are suitable for medium and high-level stereoscopic warehouses.
According to functional classification
1) Storage stereoscopic warehouse, the main function is to store a large number of goods. There are not many types of goods, but the quantity is large and the storage period is long. All kinds of stereoscopic warehouses with dense shelves are suitable for storage warehouses. 2) Picking stereoscopic warehouse, a stereoscopic warehouse with large-scale purchase, multi-user, multi-variety, and small batch delivery as the main function. This type of warehouse needs to create conditions for convenient and fast picking, so it often adopts the method of automatic addressing. Due to the large differences in user needs, it is difficult to carry out the whole in and out, so it is not suitable for automated unmanned operation, and manual picking is used. Picking-type stereoscopic warehouses are mostly used in distribution centers.
